We have rebranded — Brass has a new look now!
At the beginning of the year 2021, we decided to take a bold step to rebrand our look. As part of our mission to build useful services that can enable commerce and economic prosperity for African businesses, this rebrand reiterates our decision to continue to build fine products that will help boost business activity, remove inefficiencies and provide better performance and growth.
After careful planning and strategy for the last 9 months, we are finally ready to show you what Brass would look like going forward*.
What is new?
Dá Design Studio has been at the heart of our rebranding; from coming up with new colours to handling some of the designs on our new website.
For starters, our whole look has changed. With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our Brass blue and white colours and set out to find a more own-able colour that we could call ours. We have now embraced the colours black, white and green.
Our logo has also changed and we have made it easier for you to spot us in the midst of the crowd. The logo itself consists of two arrows moving upward diagonally. This was our way of paying homage to our tagline “Big starts small”.
Our new font
Before now, we used the AirBnB cereal app typeface throughout our product. The typeface screamed AirBnB and because of that, we knew we had to find a great font and make it ours. We made a switch to Matter SQ, a font developed in 2017 by Martin Vácha.
We have upgraded our website! The Brass website 2.0 is completely different from what we had. We did a major overhaul with this, from start to finish. Click on our website to experience a totally different look.
Our POS terminals would soon be available for everyone to use. We are currently in the beta phase. Keep an eye out for our release date. Our same day settlement pos terminals come with a dashboard where you can view detailed reports on your terminal(s).
We are launching Brass capital to all our customers soon. Get the financial boost you need to grow your business with no collateral required and repay at your own convenience.
Why the change?
As we grew, we knew it was time for us to get a brand that reflects our new ambition and what we represent for our customers and partners. A brand we can only hope can inspire a new pride in our customers because you deserve it.

We will continue to help businesses of all types work better, save time, and money with a simply better banking service that works.
